Rainy Days

Rainy days drench our little plants. Sun where are you? Day after day more rain comes down. Plants begin to droop. How long will clouds keep coming? Then, just when we begin to get weary, a new day dawns and once again we see clear skies. The sun sends its sparkling rays to beat down on our water drenched plants. Listen closely. Can you hear their cheery sighs. They begin to flourish as the sun refreshes their leaves as active photosynthesis takes on steam. The birds chirp happily, the bees buzz their busy tune, the grasshoppers jump for joy and the flowers show their beautiful smiles. It is a full fledged nature party! Summer is here. Let the fun times roll.
