As the freshly cut bright green grass fades into the shadows, evening engulfs our surroundings. New life emerges. Sparkling, dancing, little lights twinkle all around. A cheerful welcome to the evening. As my eyes get heavy, the surroundings call me to pay attention to the beautiful display nature has orchestrated. Day sounds give way to the rhythmic night sounds choreographed perfectly to our dancing lightening bugs. The night is calling. Can you hear it? Stay awake! Life has just begun. It summons me to wait just a little longer and then…a million stars begin to appear in the sky above. The constellations emerge allowing my mind to fill in the details left to one’s own imagination. Wait! I see the kite. Then the herdsman is revealed to me. What fun it is to star gaze.
